During your first appointment you will be asked to bring:
- An Insurance Card
- A Picture ID
- Any Current Medications
- Current Hospital Records, If Needed
*If you do not have a picture ID you will need to show proof of residence (mortgage/rent/lease agreement or a utility bill in your name), social security number, and date of birth.
Mobile Crisis Response
Mobile Crisis is available 24/7, nights, holidays, and weekends.
The mental health therapists at Hinds Behavioral Health Services provide outpatient therapy and counseling for adults and seniors with mental health issues including:

You do not need a diagnosis to visit with a therapist. Our treatment team will provide an intake assessment prior to your first appointment to help guide you to an appropriate therapist. We provide individual, group and family therapy at our main office Monday through Friday and by special appointment on Saturday. In an effort to offer the best service possible therapy sessions take thirty minutes to one hour.
The road to recovery and well being can be difficult but our support groups will help navigate you through your experiences and provide emotional support.

Fury Fighters Group
3:15 PM – 4:15 PM
Anger Management is a 10-week program created to help improve interpersonal skills. The Fury Fighter group is open to clients of Hinds Behavioral Health Services who are age 18 and older.

Footprints Alcoholics Anonymous is a support group for individuals who are seeking help for a drinking problem.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
HIV 101 is an HIV educational group available to registered participants of Hinds Behavioral Health Services.

Relapse Prevention is an alcohol and drug prevention support group for adults who are clients of Hinds Behavioral Health Services. We can help you find support to remain sober and learn how to live a healthy and sober life.

Tobacco Cessation is a free support group for individuals who have or want to quit smoking.

NAMI Connection is a free peer-to-peer recovery support group for adults with a mental illness regardless of diagnosis.
