Mental Health First Aid Training


Approximately one in five Americans experience a mental health or addiction disorder each year. Do you know what to do when someone near you has a panic attack? We offer Mental Health First Aid training to teachers, law enforcement, medical professionals, church members, and the general public. Trainings can be taught at our main office or at a location of your choosing. We offer youth and adult-focused Mental Health First Aid courses.

You will learn:

Warning signs for mental health and addiction disorders

Strategies for how to help someone in crisis and non-crisis situations including:

  • Panic attacks
  • Nonsuicidal self-injury
  • Reaction to a traumatic event
  • Suicidal thoughts or behaviors
  • Acute psychosis such as hallucinations or delusions
  • Overdose or withdrawal from alcohol or drug use
