Job Summary: The Adult Psychosocial Specialist I assist with planning and providing psychosocial rehabilitation services. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with group games, arts and crafts, holiday celebrations, outings and exercise for adult individuals. Reports to Division Coordinator of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with target population preferred. Previous experience as a clinician in a day treatment setting with adults is preferred. Must have valid Mississippi Commercial driver’s license with good driving history. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Good communication skills are necessary. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Job Summary: The Intensive Community Support Specialist functions as a case manager in the community to engage consumers who have traditionally been managed in psychiatric hospitals with serious and persistent mental disorders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing multiple services per week as needed in the community in order to provide comprehensive outreach and consumer identification. Frequent assessment, planning, direct service intervention, monitoring and follow up to facilitate outpatient treatment compliance of individuals who have received a pre-evaluation screening ordered by Chancery Court. Reports to Coordinator of Community Support Services. Qualifications:Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field required with at least 3 years of previous experience in a mental health setting. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCCSS) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CCSS) must be obtained within 2 years from the date of hire. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age, limitations and planned procedures. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance. Job Summary Intensive Community Support is designed to be a key part of the continuum of mental health services and support for people (adults and children) with a serious mental illness or emotional disturbance. Intensive Community Support Specialist promotes independence and quality of life by coordinating appropriate services and providing constant and ongoing support as needed by the child/youth and their family. The Intensive Community Support Specialist (ICSS) is directly involved with the child or youth and attempts to develop a caring, supportive relationship with the child/youth and their family. Intensive Community Support Services must be responsive to child/youth’s multiple and changing needs. ICSS is pivotal in coordinating required services across the mental health system and other service systems (i.e., local school, CPS, Chancery Court, Youth Court, crisis response, and substance use services). Intensive Community Support Services must help the child/youth function in the least restrictive, most natural community environment and improve their quality of life by helping them achieve their recovery goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field required with at least 3 years of previous experience in a mental health setting.
