Lead Family Coordinator – NFusion Metro Program
NFusion Metro is a youth program that provides mental health resources to youth and their families in a stigma-free teen environment. The program helps individuals between the ages of 0-26 transition into adulthood through activities, groups, counseling, and peer support.
Job Summary:
The Lead Family Coordinator will develop, implement, monitor, and administer all levels of family involvement and represents the voice of youth who have SED/SMI, develop programs for young people to facilitate their involvement and helps promote the NFusion program. This position requires travel. This position reports to the Project Director.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Behavioral Health, or Education required. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCCSS) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CCSS) must be obtained within 2 years from the date of hire. Must complete annual training in compliance with HBHS and DMH standards. Demonstrate Cultural Competency and Linguistic. Ensure adherence to the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Health and Health Care. Candidate must possess motivational leadership, proficiency in team building, conflict resolution and strength-based management. Employee must demonstrate an ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Must have a valid driver’s license in Mississippi and continued proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
