Job Summary: Provides mental health assessment, evaluation, and counseling for consumers with chemical dependency problems and families of those consumers. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, crisis intervention, acute psychiatric therapy, coordination of outpatient consumer referral, and provision of planned education/growth experiences.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Chemical Abuse Treatment or a related field and experience as a clinician in a mental health setting or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred. Must be licensed as mental health professional. LMSW, LCSW, LMHT, or LPC preferred. Must have valid driver’s license in the state of Mississippi and continued proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
