Job Summary: The Network Administrator is responsible for the Installation, setup and monitoring of the local area network (LAN). The individual in this position will perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure LAN performance meets company and user requirements. The Network Administrator provides supervision to the IT Desktop Support Specialist. Reports to Director of Administrative Services.
Qualifications: Two year degree in Computer Science/ Networking required, (4) year degree preferred. Manage AS 400 as well as network PC’s and printers. Experience with AS 400 required. Troubleshoot and correct problems and be able to build queries. At least one (1) year of experience in proven supervisory experience required. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
