Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position will be to answer incoming phone calls and route them to the person or department needed to properly address the caller on the other end of the line; take messages and monitor schedules of medical/clinical staff; act as receptionist for consumers and control traffic flow between consumers and physicians; Other duties may include but are not limited to: make appointments and keep daily schedules accurate, perform cashier duties, handle accounts for consumers, collect fees and payment information from consumers—reports to Customer Services Supervisor.
Qualifications: Employee must demonstrate the ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations, and planned procedures. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
