Job Summary: The Supported Employment & Education Specialist/ CSS will assist the individuals seek ad get work or further their education. This staff person will help individual connect with community resource, such as housing and transportation.

Qualifications:Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field required; previous experience in a mental health setting preferred. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCCSS) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CCSS) must be obtained within 2 years from the date of hire. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and continued proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
