Job Summary: The Network Specialist is responsible for the Installation, setup and monitoring of the local area network (LAN). The individual in this position will perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure LAN performance meets company and user requirements. Reports to Director of Administrative Services.
Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science/ Networking preferred or equivalent work experience. Manage AS 400 as well as network PC’s and printers. Experience with AS 400 required. Troubleshoot and correct problems and be able to build queries. At least two (2) years of experience in managing network connections required. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
