Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Hinds Behavioral Health Services provides Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to local companies on a contractual basis. The EAP helps to lower burn-out rates, address stress in the workplace, and encourages a drug-free workplace. We provide comprehensive counseling services to employees of contracted businesses as well as to their family. Whether an employee wants to resolve a stressful work situation or receive help with daily concerns, our EAP can help.
As an EAP member, your employees will have access to in-person support for a wide range of personal and work-related issues, such as:
- Managing stress & anxiety
- Marriage counseling
- Trauma counseling
- Substance abuse
- Coping with grief and loss
Employees will have up to 3 EAP visits per year, with no co-pay per issue with a local therapist. If your employee requires medical attention, an EAP counselor will help coordinate the care and support they need with your company medical plan to provide the best coverage possible. We maintain a large and diverse network of licensed and certified professionals, including therapist, counselors, marriage/family therapists, psychiatrists, and substance abuse professionals. We will make every effort to satisfy your employee’s unique requirements, such as gender preference or language needs.
