NFusion Metro is a youth program that provides mental health resources to youth and their families in a stigma-free teen environment. The program helps individuals between 0 and 26 transition into adulthood through activities, groups, counseling, and peer support. 

Job Summary:

The Trauma Care Coordinator is an integral interdisciplinary team member for the System of Care Grant in Hinds County. The Trauma Care Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to respond to the needs of the adult, child/adolescent consumers using a patient-centered approach that removes silos of care and supports an integrated system for ages 0-21. This position will provide whole-person care coordination across medical, behavioral, and social service community systems. Additionally, the Trauma Care Coordinator provides care coordination in an array of services and ensures all clinicians are providing evidence-based treatment practices at all times, providing targeted case management and referral services to clients. The position requires travel. The Trauma Care Coordinator reports to the Project Director.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field and experience as a clinician working with children and their families.  License is preferred.  If not licensed, a Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCMHT) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CMHT) must be obtained within two (2) years from the date of issuance of provisional.  Requires flexibility regarding working conditions and assignments, good oral and written communication skills and thorough knowledge of psychiatric disorders and corresponding treatment for children and adolescents.  Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
