Individual Resiliency Trainer-NAVIGATE
Job Summary:
The Individual Resiliency Trainer will help individuals identify and work toward their goals, teaching them strategies and skills to build resiliency in coping with psychosis while staying on track with their lives. This position requires travel. This position reports to the Navigate Team Leader.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field and experience as a clinician working with children and their families. Must be licensed or certified as a mental health professional. If not licensed, a Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCMHT) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from the hire date, and (CMHT) must be obtained within to 2 years from the date of issuance. Requires flexibility regarding working conditions and assignments, good oral and written communication skills, thorough knowledge of psychiatric disorders, and corresponding treatment for children and adolescents. Employee must demonstrate the ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations, and planned procedures. Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens
