Team Lead/ Supervised Living (PAL)
Job Summary: The Team Lead/Supervised Living (PAL) provides direct supervision to Direct Care Worker staff. The individual in this position provides training and scheduling for Direct Care staff. Team Lead/Supervised Living (PAL) also serves as a Psychiatric Technician/Mental Health Worker for individuals assigned to the Supervised Living (PAL) facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling staff, training, and intervening in crisis situations. Reports to the Director of Adult Services.
Qualifications
High school diploma and 2 years of experience in a psychiatric or inpatient, residential, group home setting, any institutional setting/facility determined to be acceptable by the agency or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
