DUI Assessments

Our DUI assessments are state-approved for individuals who have been court-ordered, required by their employer, or self-directed. The assessments include a Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI) diagnostic assessment to help identify substance use disorders, a psychiatric evaluation, and an American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) assessment.

Based on the results of the SASSI evaluation, an individualized substance use and/or mental health treatment plan is offered. Treatment services may include relapse prevention groups, therapy, and other services. *Individuals are not required to use any services recommended, but are offered for recovery and support.

Scheduled assessment appointments are required. HBHS offers Second Chance DUI services as well.
