Job Summary: The Peer Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers of all ages in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as role models to peers, helping other consumers with skill building, goal setting, problem-solving and finding resources. Reports to Mobile Crisis Team Lead.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be a current or former consumer, or first degree family member of an individual who has received treatment for and self-identifies as a consumer or former mental health consumer. Must have demonstrated a minimum of six (6) months, preferably twelve (12) months, in self-directed recovery. Must have completed at least one of the DMH recognized peer training programs such as, Family-to-Family or Family Time Out. Must successfully pass the Certified Peer Support Specialist after completion of training. Good communication skills are necessary. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Job Summary: A Registered Nurse (RN) position on the weekend shift is available at our 24-7 Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The RN will provide nursing care services for psychiatric consumers in the Adult CSU; design nursing care plans and assist in developing the overall care plan for psychiatric consumers; and ensure appropriate overall care is administered in a manner conducive to recovery.
Qualifications: Minimum Associate’s degree in nursing required; current RN license in Mississippi and previous psychiatric experience preferred. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (children and youth), limitations and planned procedures. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary. Must have valid Mississippi driver’s license and maintain proof of auto insurance. OSHA - moderate to high risk. May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases; occasional exposure to unpleasant consumer or unit elements, subject to varying and unpredictable situations.

Job Summary:
The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (AIOP) Therapist will conduct ongoing assessments, evaluations, and counseling for individuals facing issues related to alcohol and drug use, as well as mental health concerns. This role involves working with both the consumers and their families. Key responsibilities include crisis intervention, providing individual, group, and family therapy, coordinating referrals for consumers, and offering planned educational and growth experiences.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field and experience as a clinician working with children and their families. A license is preferred. If not licensed, a Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCMHT) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date, and (CMHT) must be obtained within 2 years from the date of hire. Requires flexibility regarding working conditions and assignments, good oral and written communication skills and thorough knowledge of psychiatric disorders and corresponding treatment for children and adolescents. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance.
