Adolescent Outpatient Program Assistant

Job Summary:
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, documenting, and reporting on client cases. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in assisting our therapists with program planning and implementation. You will also provide clerical support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our program. Your work will be vital in helping us achieve our mission of providing top-quality services to children and youth in need. This position reports directly to the Coordinator of Children & Youth Services.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required with two years’ work experience, preferably in a mental health or other health related setting. Previous experience as an aide or specialist in a setting with children is highly desirable. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients’ individual needs based on psychiatric conditions, age (pediatrics, adolescents), limitations, and planned procedures. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary. Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
