Job Summary: The Peer Support Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers of all ages in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as role models to peers, helping other consumers with skill building, goal setting, problem-solving and finding resources. This position reports to the Navigate Team Leader.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be a current or former consumer; or first degree family member of an individual who has received treatment for and self-identifies as a consumer or former mental health consumer. Must have demonstrated a minimum of six (6) months, preferably twelve (12) months, in self-directed recovery. Must successfully pass the Certified Peer Support Specialist after completion of DMH Certified Peer Support Specialist training. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Job Summary: Seeking Full-time Direct Care Workers (DCW) for our 24-7 Supervised Living House which operates on three (3) shifts per day. The DCW functions as a Psychiatric Technician/Mental Health Worker who assist residents with transportation needs, physical care and daily program activities along with general housekeeping assignments, meal planning and preparation, as well as grocery shopping.
Qualifications: High school diploma and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric or inpatient, residential, group home setting, any institutional setting/facility determined to be acceptable by the agency or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Job Summary: The Desktop Support Specialist (IT/DSS) will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values. The IT/DSS will also be responsible for troubleshooting and timely resolution of end user problems and requests related to the following systems: MS Windows, MS Office, IBM iSeries based clinical systems, Windows Server, i/OS, Networking equipment (Both Wired and Wireless); Access Control systems, Time and Attendance systems, Printing Equipment; and Phone Equipment. The IT/DSS reports to the Network Administrator.
Qualifications: Minimum two year degree in Computer Science/ Networking is strongly preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience with broad knowledge, skills and abilities relative to the position will be considered.
Experience with AS/400 emulation and i/OS is desired.
Must have excellent time management and organizational skills, work independently, and have a sense of urgency prioritizing resolution of issues
Ability to logically troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Work with minimal supervision.

Job Summary: Full time Direct Care Worker (DCW) position is available at our 24-7 Ruth Wilson Children & Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit (C&Y CSU). Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of building maintenance and custodial duties (carpentry, plumbing, painting, general cleaning, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, etc.) in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment. Assists with monitoring generators and fire extinguishers to ensure compliance, as well as plumbing, painting, and carpentry, and notifies supervisor of the need for minor/major repairs. Job duties also include but are not limited to: general custodial duties such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all areas of the building, including lobbies and restrooms. It may require travel to multiple locations occasionally.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in building maintenance and basic knowledge of cleaning methods and products required. Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 25 lbs. Must have a valid (or ability to obtain/maintain) Mississippi Commercial driver’s license (Class D) with good driving history and proof of auto insurance. Job Summary: The Community Support Specialist functions as a case manager with an assigned caseload of children with emotional, behavioral, and/or conduct disorders and their families. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting, developing and/or applying the Recovery Support Plan and facilitating compliance. The Community Support Specialist Serves as a member of the appropriate interdisciplinary treatment team. This position reports to Community Support Services Team Lead.
Qualifications: Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field required; previous experience in a mental health setting preferred. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCCSS) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from the hire date and (CCSS) must be obtained within two years from the date of issuance of provisional certification.
