Job Summary: The CSU Support Services Clerk performs general clerical duties including answering incoming phone calls, typing, receptionist duties and other duties as assigned. Other duties include, but are not limited to, creating client admission charts, inputting data into the EHR system, completion of Prior Authorizations and scheduling of Concurrent Reviews, and completing daily reports. Reports to Coordinator of the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Qualifications: Possess good written and oral language skills, organization skills and computer skills. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
