Job Summary: The Peer Support Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers of all ages in the NFusion Program, in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as role models to peers, helping other consumers with skill building, goal setting, problem-solving and finding resources. This position reports to Program Director. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be a current or former consumer, or first-degree family member of an individual who has received treatment for and self-identifies as a consumer or former mental health consumer. Must demonstrate a minimum of six (6) months in self-directed recovery within the last year. Must attend and successfully pass the Certified Peer Support Specialist training. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid Mississippi driver’s license and maintain proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Job Summary: Seeking Full-time Direct Care Workers (DCW) for our 24-7 Supervised Living House which operates on three (3) shifts per day.  The DCW functions as a Psychiatric Technician/Mental Health Worker who assist residents with transportation needs, physical care and daily program activities along with general housekeeping assignments, meal planning and preparation, as well as grocery shopping. Qualifications:  High school diploma and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric or inpatient, residential, group home setting, any institutional setting/facility determined to be acceptable by the agency or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.  Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance. Job Summary: Seeking Float Pool RN's who are available and willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area. The Float Pool RN provides flexible, supplemental nurse staffing throughout multiple facilities, including Adult CSU and Children & Youth CSU. Provide nursing care services to psychiatric consumers. Design nursing care plans and assist in the development of the overall care plan for psychiatric consumers. Ensure appropriate overall care is administered in a manner conducive to recovery. Qualifications: Minimum Associate’s degree in nursing required; current RN license in Mississippi and previous psychiatric experience preferred. Employee must demonstrate an ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (young adults, Middle-Aged and Geriatric), limitations, and planned procedures. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary. Must have valid Mississippi driver’s license and maintain proof of auto insurance. OSHA - moderate to high risk. Job Summary Intensive Community Support is designed to be a key part of the continuum of mental health services and support for people (adults and children) with a serious mental illness or emotional disturbance. Intensive Community Support Specialist promotes independence and quality of life by coordinating appropriate services and providing constant and ongoing support as needed by the child/youth and their family. The Intensive Community Support Specialist (ICSS) is directly involved with the child or youth and attempts to develop a caring, supportive relationship with the child/youth and their family. Intensive Community Support Services must be responsive to child/youth’s multiple and changing needs. ICSS is pivotal in coordinating required services across the mental health system and other service systems (i.e., local school, CPS, Chancery Court, Youth Court, crisis response, and substance use services). Intensive Community Support Services must help the child/youth function in the least restrictive, most natural community environment and improve their quality of life by helping them achieve their recovery goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field required with at least 3 years of previous experience in a mental health setting. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCCSS) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CCSS) must be obtained within to 2 years from the date of issuance.  Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age, limitations and planned procedures. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance. Reports to Intern Supervisor. Qualifications: Intern must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor level Behavioral Health Program. Intern must purchase and maintain professional liability insurance for duration of internship. Intern must comply with all university expectations, complete assigned coursework, and provide Mental Health Intern Supervisor with information regarding field study requirements, evaluations and syllabi. Requires flexibility in working conditions and assignments; good oral and written communication skills and knowledge of psychiatric disorders and corresponding treatment. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (if performing school or home visits). Functions as a Case Manager for an assigned caseload of adults with serious and persistent mental disorders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, responding to crisis calls in the community, supporting, developing and/or applying the treatment/service plan and facilitating compliance. Serves as a member of appropriate interdisciplinary treatment team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field required; previous experience in a mental health setting preferred. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCCSS) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CSSS) must be obtained within two (2) years from the date provisional certification is obtained.
