Job Summary:  The CSU Support Services Clerk performs general clerical duties, including answering incoming phone calls, typing, receptionist duties, and other duties as assigned.  Other duties include, but are not limited to, creating client admission charts, inputting data into the EHR system, completing prior authorizations, scheduling Concurrent Reviews, and preparing daily reports.  Reports to the Coordinator of the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, social services, or a related field is preferred. Prior training or experience in a mental health or healthcare setting is also preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), strong organizational and recordkeeping skills, and the ability to maintain accurate filing systems and logs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to schedule appointments, manage multiple priorities, and provide professional customer service by telephone and in person. The employee must demonstrate the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to each consumer’s individual needs based on medical condition, age group (infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric), limitations, and treatment plan. Work is primarily sedentary, with occasional standing, walking, lifting, and movement of supplies or equipment. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens in accordance with OSHA standards.

NFusion Metro is a youth program that provides mental health resources to youth and their families in a stigma-free teen environment. The program helps individuals between the ages of 0-26 transition into adulthood through activities, groups, counseling, and peer support. Job Summary: The Suicide Assessment and Prevention Specialist will assess and provide individual, group, and family therapy to youth with suicidal tendencies. They will also consult, collaborate, and coordinate with parents/guardians and community agents to prevent suicide. The assessments, therapy sessions, and consultations will be in compliance with DMH standards and will focus on the strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences of the youth and their family. The Specialist will provide clinical support to help youth and their families cope with stressors related to serious emotional disturbance. They will also organize training and prevention activities and presentations to educate the Hinds County community on suicide awareness and prevention using evidence-based practices. This position will report to the Project Director. Director. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required; LPC, LMSW/LCSW, or DMH Certification required; or LSW or RN with five years experience in Behavioral Healthcare required. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCMHT) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CMHT) must be obtained within two (2) years from the date of issuance of provisional. Must complete annual training in compliance with HBHS and DMH standards. Candidate must possess motivational leadership, proficiency in team building, conflict resolution, and strength-based management. Demonstrate Cultural Competency and Linguistic. Ensure adherence to the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Health and Health Care. Employee must demonstrate an ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (young adults, middle-aged, and geriatric), limitations, and planned procedures. Must have a valid driver’s license in Mississippi and continued proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

This position reports to the Project Director. Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Behavioral Health, or Education required. A Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCCSS) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CCSS) must be obtained within 2 years from the date of hire. Job Summary: The Behavioral Healthcare Provider provides leadership and direction at the school level, working to design, implement, coordinate and evaluate a comprehensive behavior support program. In addition, the Behavioral Healthcare Provider works directly and aggressively with identified students to adopt behaviors that substantially increase their academic performance. Under the supervision of the building principal, district representative, and Hinds Behavioral Health Services, the Behavioral Healthcare Provider will provide diversified strategies and activities specifically designed for targeted students. This position reports to C&Y Treatment Team Leader.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field and experience as a clinician working with children and their families. License is preferred. If not licensed, a Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCMHT) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CMHT) must be obtained within to 2 years from the date of hire. Minimum of two-five years successful classroom experience in which the teaching of “at risk” and/or “behaviorally challenged” students was an important responsibility for the position. Requires flexibility regarding working conditions and assignments, good oral and written communication skills and thorough knowledge of psychiatric disorders and corresponding treatment for children and adolescents. Qualifications: Minimum Associate’s degree in nursing required; current RN license in Mississippi and previous psychiatric experience preferred. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (children and youth), limitations and planned procedures. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary. Must have valid Mississippi driver’s license and maintain proof of auto insurance. OSHA - moderate to high risk. Job Summary: The Peer Support Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers of all ages in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as role models to peers, helping other consumers with skill building, goal setting, problem-solving and finding resources. This position reports to the PATH Grant Team Lead. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be a current or former consumer; or first degree family member of an individual who has received treatment for and self-identifies as a consumer or former mental health consumer. Must have demonstrated a minimum of six (6) months, preferably twelve (12) months, in self-directed recovery. Must successfully pass the Certified Peer Support Specialist after completion of DMH Certified Peer Support Specialist training. Good communication skills are necessary. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance.
